理学博士，现任高级工程师、硕士研究生导师。主持完成国自然基金项目（青年）1项，珠海校区引进人才启动经费项目1项；参与多项重大、国家自然基金、省部级科研项目。在《Journal of Integrative Plant Biology》《International Journal of Molecular Sciences》《BMC Genomics》《Biology of the cell》《Horticulturae》等期刊发表学术文章多篇，已获授权国内外发明专利4项。

主要从事细胞骨架相关蛋白的结构与功能、细胞分裂机制（有丝分裂和减数分裂）、植物再生和合成生物学方面的研究，及显微成像技术与方法等的开发应用。
